Why abstract? Years ago, under the guidance of my Buddhist painting professor, I freed myself from the tyranny of representation. Although many say they find abstract art “unapproachable” or “difficult to understand,” we easily accept music as a non-representational art form, willing to embrace our sensations, to let ourselves “float” as if on the wind, when we hear an evocative piece.
I hope you will attend these pieces in the same spirit, without need for analysis or interpretation.
Let yourself “float” as you explore the shapes and colors that my hand finds as I work, dancing with the unknown, with the inner landscape.
